The Seven and Three (The Duchovia and Pokvaren)
The seven is reference to the Duchovia and the three is reference to the Pokvaren. The Duchovia are the celestial beings that were given life by Ilîhum, to serve him and to create life on Aynnor. Originally there were ten Duchovia, but three fell to darkness to become the Pokvaren, the Tainted. The Seven and Three did battle many times until the ruination of the continent Wyrre. It was during this cataclysmic event, that one of the Three were destroyed and forced the surviving to flee to gather their strength.

The Duchovia
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All the Duchovia are known to appear as the perfect being of their respective creation. They are of unearthly beauty and grace, their voices are said to pierce nearly any sort of darkness that plagues the mind, and they can see into a mortal's very being. To meet a Duchovia is to be blessed or damned, depending on the situation. Few have met a Duchovia since the destruction of the Kingdom of Vestrvegr.
The Seven are:
-Me'Khel, the chief Duchovia and husband to Saphyio. Me'Khel is best known to the world as the creator of Mankind. He is known by his crest of the golden eagle grasping a sword upon a blue shield. He is represented by the golden eagles of the Syangor Mountains that sit isolated from the mainland in the southern sea.
-Saphyio, consort of Me'Khel and Queen of the Duchovia. Saphyio is the creator of the Merfolk. She is known by her crest of the silver trident upon an aquamarine colored shield. She is represented by the silverfinned dolphins that often can be found in the southern coastal waters off of the continent of Eirene.
-Dretus, smith and loremaster of the Duchovia. Dretus is known widely as the creator of the Eldjotnar (Titans in Common). He is known by his crest of a brown hairy fist upon a red hued shield. He is represented by the bole dire bears found throughout many forest, though in recent years most commonly in places such as the Jarnvior/Jarnvid or other primeval forests.
-Gekmari, messenger and hunter of the Duchovia. Gekmari is best known for his creation of the Lizardfolk. His crest is rarely used by known to some as two black spears crossed over a shield of yellow. He is represented by the twin-crested adder, a deadly viper snake found in forests with fresh flowing streams and rocky riverbeds.
-Neiros, twin of Deiros and the keeper of nature for the Duchovia. Neiros is known for his creation of the Elven race and their close kinship to the Fey race. His crest is a gray bow drawn with arrow upon a shield of emerald green. He is represented by the blue-stripped grey hawk that is found in few regions across Aynnor, though primarily within the vast Ygard Forest east of Calirun.
-Deiros, twin of Neiros and trickster of the Duchovia. Deiros is best known for her creation of the Fey race and their close kinship to the Elven race. Her crest is a bright green and silver harp upon a grey hued shield. She is represented by the red four-fingered pseudodragons.
-Aelur, master of the skies and guardian of the Duchovia. Aelur is known as the creator of the race of Dragons. His crest is that of a bone white draconic skull upon a black shield. The Pokvaren
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All the Pokvaren are known to appear as a corruption of their original spiritual form. To the eyes of mortals they can range from unearthly beauty to maddening horrific in appearance. To meet a Pokvaren is typically a bad omen and one often will consider themselves damned, but there are some who would welcome an audience with such a being. Few have met a Pokvaren since the destruction of the Kingdom of Vestrvegr.
The Three include:
-Myrtorc, known as the Fallen is the first of the Duchovia to turn to the darkness and develop feelings of hate and jealousy. Myrtorc was the first necromancer and developed many races of undeath. It is through his actions that the Orcs were born into Aynnor, from the horrific physical torture and mental torment of the Elves, created by Neiros who has a special hate for Myrtorc. Me'Khel and Myrtorc are the worst of foes, their personal duels completely destroyed, as result of Myrtorc draining the population for healing, the ancient island nation of Glaniu, that sat in the southeastern sea. Myrtorc is known for his silver tongue and skill at fooling the senses. His crest is that of a set of glowing green eyes over a black shield. He is best represented by the skeletal soldiers of fallen Vestrvegr and Rhundaure that wander the wastes of Wyrre seeking the living.
-Kyja, known as the Forked Tongue and Myrtorc's Queen. She followed Myrtorc into the darkness, her lover and corrupter, away from her brother Aelur. Using her charms and promises, she lured many of Aelur's children into her control – causing an eternal conflict between the siblings as result of this dastardly betrayal. Her crest is akin to her brother Aelur's, though in reverse, a draconic skull of the purest black upon a white shield. She is represented by her chosen “children,” the red dragons.
-Smierc, known as Ruiner and retainer of Myrtorc. At first Smierc stayed among the Duchovia, resisting the pull of the darkness until his love was rejected by Deiros and he became humiliated infront of the other Duchovia. As he hid, he was approached by Myrtorc and through his sly speech was taken into the darkness. There he became Myrtorc's preferred weapon to ruin and destroy. He was extremely vicious against the Elves and Fey, it is via Smierc that Myrtorc acquired so many for his own purposes. Though it is thought Smierc did himself in, he is credited with Great Cataclysm, though the method or reason is unknown. His crest was two downward pointing black swords upon a blood red shield. He was represented by the destructive, though now extinct, creature known as the violent giant baku (dream-eater).
